The most unique festival of the Tisza-tó has returned once again to take participants out of their comfort zones and present the artists’ performances from an unusual perspective. Here, there is no audience area in the traditional sense – the stage is nature itself, the scenery is the water’s surface, and the backdrop is the panorama of the Tisza-tó.

From August 1–3, for the twelfth time, the Tisza-tavi edition of the Magyar Tavak Fesztiválja brings the melodies of the Tisza-tó to life, where music, nature, and active recreation join forces to provide every visitor with an experience that refreshes both body and soul.

The lineup is strengthened by some of the finest artists of the Hungarian music scene, including the festival’s lifelong ambassador, Erika Miklósa.

The opening Gala Concert at Fő tér in Tiszafüred promises a true open-air enchantment. Erika Miklósa, Kossuth and Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning coloratura soprano, will perform together with the students of the Kvintesszencia Mesteriskola, directed by Péter Novák.
